Objectives

The Advanced Research Division consists of four smart laboratories: the Development of Synergistic Functional Materials Smart Laboratory; the Quantum Materials Smart Laboratory; the Disease Mechanisms and Drug Efficacy Imaging Smart Laboratory; and the Agriculture and Food Smart Laboratory. It plays a role in realizing impactful contributions that create future value for society by smartly promoting collaboration and fusion that will contribute to the industrial structure and social transformation of the next generation. We will strongly promote feasibility studies based on the coalition concept in order to promote the spread and utilization of next-generation synchrotron radiation facilities in society.
